Vargas & Vargas Insurance of Dorchester, Norwood, and Stoughton, MA is pleased to announce a call for entries for the 3rd annual Boston’s Best Neighbor Award.

Carlos Vargas, President of Vargas & Vargas Insurance and originator of the award, stated “The purpose of the annual Boston’s Best Neighbor Award is to honor an individual who has demonstrated special care, concern, and volunteer hours to make their neighborhood a safer, more pleasant, and more friendly community for all of the residents. This individual may have made contributions to other neighborhoods, projects, or citywide concerns.”

Nomination guidelines and details can be found on the Vargas & Vargas Insurance website at www.vargasinsurance.com .  Nominations must be submitted or postmarked by April 15 , 2011 .  The 2011 winning nominee will receive $2,000 and a plaque to be presented at the Taste of Dorchester® event. The individual who nominates the winner will receive a $500 check and $500 donated to the charity of their choice. Two runners-up will also receive $ 250 each .
